Warranty Policy

General Warranty Terms & Conditions:

WARRANTY LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Blue Icon (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd.’s (hereinafter referred to as BIT-CCTV) sole liability for any defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at our sole discretion. Under no circumstances whatsoever will BIT-CCTV be liable in any way for any damages in connection with any product or its sale, purchase, or use, whether or not foreseeable and whether or not based on breach of warranty, contract or negligence, even if BIT-CCTV has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our liability (whether under the theories of breach of contract or warranty, negligence or strict liability) exceed the purchase price paid for the item.

Warranty Period:

The length of warranty on all our products and components is 12 months. The warranty period will start in 7 days after the receipt or sign of the products delivered to the buyer.

What is NOT Covered:

Below situations are not covered by BIT-CCTV’s “Warranty and RMA Policy”. BIT-CCTV will provide possible support and service with charge:

1. Products damaged due to fore majeure

2. Repair or attempted repair by someone other than a BIT-CCTV’s certified technician or without BIT-CCTV’s technical instruction

3. Accident (such as dropping or spilled liquids), misuse, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature.

4. Unauthorized product modification or usage not in accordance with product instructions

5. Use of parts and components not supplied by BIT-CCTV

For any products out of warranty, BIT-CCTV will provide the necessary support for repair with charge. In any case that the products is considered as "irreparable", our service will end.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization):

BIT-CCTV provides RMA service for the defective products directly purchased from us within its warranty period according to our warranty term policy. For more information about our RMA procedures, please contact your sales representative.
