Ⅰ. Centralized power supply
Centralized power supply means that the source devices are centrally installed in the power room and battery room, and the electric energy is uniformly transformed and distributed to all communication devices.
Centralized power supply: Connect a 12V centralized power supply to the 220V power supply, and then connect the 2*1.0 red and black power cables respectively to the camera. The 12V power supply distance cannot exceed 100 meters. Connect a single power cable connector, and then connect the single power cable connector to the monitoring camera power connector. Centralized power supply means that 12V switching power supply is used to centrally supply power to the front load in the monitoring room or at an intermediate point.
The role of centralized monitoring
Object data center management mainly includes the infrastructure and IT infrastructure of two parts, such as distribution, network equipment, security, etc., the purpose of centralized monitoring is to be able to pass the application of management and technology, infrastructure and the operation of the IT infrastructure condition monitoring, fault and abnormal real-time found and notice; In addition, by collecting and sorting monitoring data, it can provide analysis basis for capacity management, event management, problem management and compliance management, and finally achieve the goal of high availability of data centers.
Advantages: construction is convenient, easy to maintain, unified control and management.
Disadvantages: Complex configuration in the early stage, long transmission distance of DC low-voltage power supply, high voltage loss, poor anti-interference ability during transmission.
Ⅱ. Point-to-point power supply
Point-to-point power supply: it means that 220V alternating current is directly drawn from the monitoring room, a separate DC12V power supply is connected next to the camera, and then connected to the monitoring camera, and the bracket is installed.
Advantages: Low voltage loss of 220V AC in the transmission process, strong anti-interference ability.
Disadvantages: Each point must install a power supply, construction is more troublesome.
Ⅲ. PoE power supply
PoE power supply is a technology that provides DC power for other devices without any change in the existing Ethernet Cat.5 cabling infrastructure. This technology is mainly applied to HD network digital monitoring systems.
Advantages: Cost reduction, flexible deployment, convenient and fast, beautiful, maximum power of a single port up to 30W.
Disadvantages: The network cable quality is high, the transmission distance is limited, and the power of the receiving device cannot exceed 30W.
1. Do not use centralized power supply when infrared cameras are used. Because the current is high when infrared is turned on, the centralized power supply is difficult to ensure the infrared effect of all cameras.
2, point to point power supply, the nearest electricity, can save the line, is a great saving, but after-sales maintenance, to extremely difficult maintenance; This is certain, centralized power supply has a benefit, later maintenance is put is simple, not easy to give a problem, but not section more wire, if you this single finish patted buttocks to leave, you use point to point power supply, it is long-term that still use centralized power supply.
3, if the socket is used to separate the nearest electricity, if not much, it can be used to concentrate, if it is indoors, you can use a good point with sheath power cord.
4. If there are a large number of cameras and the power supply distance is less than 100 m, you are advised to use PoE for power supply. No special construction is required.
