BIT-PT850 heavy duty pan tilt unit is a large size pan tilt with load capacity up to 50kg (110.23lb). It is AC/DC24V self-adaptive driven. Via Pelco protocol, RS485 interface, it can be controlled by loaded cameras or a joystick controller. Made of die-cast aluminum alloy with additional corrosion surface treatment, it is IP66 ingress protection and ideal for long range pan tilt zoom positioning system applied in many critical area like airport, seaport, military infrastructure, and also for city, boarder application.

IP rating is also known as Ingress Protection or International Protection ratings are defined to the international standard of EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992). This standard is used to define the levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies such as tools, dirt and moisture.
BIT-PT850 haevy duty pan tilt head features IP66 ingress protection. Below is explanation of IP66 rating:

It is well known that salt air in costal area corrodes metal in coastal environments, so to extend the working life time of pan tilt positioning unit, we are offering additional solution with corrosion resistant surface treatment and coating powder on BIT-PT850 heavy duty pan tilt unit.
If the BIT-PT850 pan tilt unit doesn’t receive any control commands for a certain amount of preset time, it will start to run some preset movement like preset, cruising or auto scan.
